YOUR WEDDING DAY MAKEUP
Makeup Artist & Airbrush vs. Traditional Makeup
It is so important on your wedding day to look flawless and gorgeous, even if you are good with your own makeup application it’s another ball game when it comes to taking bridal pictures an investment you’ve made. It’s even important for your makeup to last through out a night of kissing, hugging and good food. A trained makeup artist will help reduce your stress by assisting in bringing out your natural or romantic style Airbrush or conventional bridal makeup application assures the bride a polished look and quality photographs.
Benefits of Airbrush
I’m often asked if I prefer using the airbrush method verses the traditional, actually I enjoy and prefer using them both. Digital photography has become the trend in the wedding world which means the smallest quality is captured. A digital camera may pick up streaking associated with brushes and sponges which go undetected with regular film. With proper layering technique an absolutely flawless can be achieved with airbrush. Bride’s loves this aspect of airbrush with all the kissing, hugging, airbrush makeup lasts all day, waterproof and does not come off on clothing. Not only does the bride feel beautiful she feels as if she’s not wearing makeup. Makeup for the groom provides the gentlemen the benefit of perfect healthy looking skin.
What Products Do I Use?
Professional film/stage quality makeup mediums such as MAC Pro, Sacha, Ben Nye, Brown Skin Beauty, Cinema Secrets, RCMA and Thi for traditional makeup application. Having a passion for beauty and glamour makeup you’ll also find in my kit other makeup favorites Fashion Fair, Bobbi Brown, Channel and Jane Cosmetics. Bridal Airbrush makeup of preference is Temptu, the forerunner in airbrush makeup invented by award winning cosmetic line Estee Lauder chemist. Temptu products are everywhere from TV production, print ads, editorials to runway fashion shows. Every client is different, skin and makeup needs are different as client goal, and therefore the product that does the job is what I use.
